Orrville Home for the Holidays Ice Sculptures

 On the Friday evening after Thanksgiving, Orrville business host Home for the Holidays with incredible ice sculptures.

Heartland Trail - Orrville and Marshallville

We have enjoyed the new Heartland Trail in Orrville/Marshallville on foot and bike.  We have parked off from Forrer Rd and rode toward Marshallville.  We have also parked behind Marshallville Packing and rode toward Orrville.  We have headed north a little ways from Marshallville but have always stopped when the paved trail ended.  We recently read we could keep going on the unpaved area.  We did that tonight on foot.  It was beautiful with wild flowers on both sides of the path.  Further down the path there was some cool rock formations.

Putt N Stuff - Orrville

There's miniature golf, outdoor activities, indoor playground, arcade, laser tag.

Maple Syrup Festival - Orrville

We went to a maple syrup farm about 2 minutes from our house today to see how they make maple syrup.  It's been too cold to get much this year but we saw the lines and pumps.  Elm Run Farms

Johnson's Woods - Orrville

 We went for a walk at Johnson's Woods today until we got run out by the mosquitoes.

Missions at the Airport - Orrville

  Every other year there is a fun event at Preferred Airports south of Orrville to raise money & awareness for Wycliffe Missions.  You can pay for airplane rides.  There is a lot of hands on activities for the kids.
