Ash Cave & Rock House - Hocking Hills

We visited Ash Cave first thing Monday morning & Rock House first thing Tuesday morning.  Both of these are pretty popular places but weren't busy when we were there earlier in the morning, during  the week.  These are 2 of my favorite places so it was nice to enjoy by ourselves.

Postcard Cabin Hocking Hills

 We stayed 2 nights in this fun Postcard Cabin in Hocking Hills.  It was fun, but a little small.  Snacks, Smore Kts, & oatmeal provided.  Marriott manages these all over the country.

Rock Stalls Nature Sanctuary & Boch Hollow Nature Preserve

We visited Rock Stalls Nature Sanctuary.  It was pretty but there wasn't much water flowing at the waterfall.

We got a permit to visit Laurel Falls in Boch Hollow Nature Preserve.

Rockbridge State Nature Preserve

 Rockbridge is a fairly easy to access Natural Bridge near Hocking Hills.  We had visited in the winter when it was frozen, which was really cool.  This time we went in the fall & also went to the Rock House here.

Flight of the Hawk Park - Lancaster OH

Flight of the Hawk Park is a fun roadside attraction, just off the highway, near Lancaster OH.  I'm a sucker for a quirky roadside attraction.

 

Old Man's Cave & Cedar Falls- Hocking Hills Ohio

 

You can hike to/from Cedar Falls & Old Man's Cave.  It's about 6 miles round trip or you can park & do them separately
