We had a beautiful drive up Mt Lemmon. It's about a 40 min drive. We were there in February & had snow at the top. There was about a 20+ degree change as we drove up. It would be a great break from the heat in the summer.
You can take a ski lift ride near the top
At the town of Summerhaven near the top, Cookie Cabin has huge cookies.
We tried doing Sunset hike in reverse, but it was snow covered & we weren't dressed appropriately.
