Valdez Alaska

 We had heard the drive to Valdez was gorgeous.  Unfortunately it was a rainy, foggy day on our drive.  We could still see lots of waterfalls along the way.  If you have time, I'd highly recommend it for the drive down & the Hatchery.

 

Solomon Gulch Fish Hatchery.  Fun place (& noisy & smelly) to watch the salmon, sea gulls, & seals.  We had heard it's also a good place to see bear but we didn't.  It was a last minute decision to come but it was one of our favorite stops on the trip.
